We are pleased to announce the Strategic Collaborations Unit is expanding to the enterprise level and will now be the Mass General Brigham Enterprise Emergency Medicine Strategic Collaborations Unit (SCU).
Mass General Brigham (MGB) is a network of hospitals and physicians based in Boston, Massachusetts. The MGB system consists of 16 institutions ranging from specialty hospitals to physician networks and includes the world-renowned teaching hospitals Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
SCU was previously located in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a founding member of MGB. With the expansion to the entirety of the MGB network, SCU will have access to a greater range of expertise, educational opportunities, and testing environments. This expansion will strengthen our existing services including our international fellowships, digital health product innovation, and customized and executive healthcare education.
As with the former SCU, the new MGB Enterprise EM SCU will be led by Luis Lobón, MD. We look forward to future collaborations with MGH and the rest of the MGB community to enhance our offerings and further our mission worldwide.
